What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, balance and functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals and provide evidence-based therapy to restore mobility, function, reduce pain and improve patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, recovery, injury prevention, equipment use and home care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Supervise PTAs and support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Complete accurate documentation and billing in a timely manner
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives and compliance programs
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current State Physical Therapist license required
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Previous healthcare or hospital experience preferred - new graduates are encouraged to apply
