    Description

    How you make a difference

    Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following injury, illness, or surgery. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs consistent with the physician's plan of treatment and revises plans as patient needs change. Collaborates with physicians and clinical team members to obtain patient information and coordinate effective care. Instructs, motivates, and assists patients with both manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises. Maintains accurate documentation, including daily progress notes and correspondence with providers, and educates patients and referring providers on the established plan of care.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    EDUCATION

    • Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred

    EXPERIENCE

    • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

    • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state

    • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develops and implements rehabilitation programs aligned with physician treatment plans

    • Collaborates with physicians and clinical team members to assess, implement, and revise therapy plans

    • Instructs, motivates, and assists patients with manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises

    • Administers manual therapeutic exercises to support patient recovery

    • Maintains required documentation, including progress notes and provider correspondence
