Job Summary

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. As a Physical Therapist I, you will evaluate and treat patient populations for therapy needs. You will establish a plan of care, provide education to patients and families, and assist with patient discharge.

Responsibilities

  • Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patients conditions
  • Establishes a plan of care that is appropriate to the patients problems and involves the patient and family according to their capabilities and desires
  • Provides education to the patient and family about patient deficits and information regarding the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs
  • Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting
  • Performs all underlying duties of the job, including supervising support personnel according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist - State Basic Life Support
  • Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Preferred: Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Required licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Minimum Experience: None required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
