Pay Rate
Local: $1,800 - $1,875/week
Traveler: $2,000 - $2,033/week

Position Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting within a multidisciplinary team. The position may include opportunities to rotate across inpatient, outpatient, and acute services.

Required Qualifications

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience required.
• Current New York State Physical Therapy license.
• Current American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience listed in the source.
• Excellent oral, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• English: Read, Write, Speak.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial physical therapy examinations.
• Establish treatment goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement physical therapy interventions and conduct timely re-examinations.
• Modify treatment goals and interventions based on patient progress.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Complete required documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, monthly summaries, and discharge summaries.
• Provide training and education to families, care partners, and medical personnel.
• Recommend appropriate durable medical equipment.
• Prepare letters of medical necessity when required.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Recommend continued physical therapy and provide home exercise programs.
• Attend conferences, rounds, in-services, and meetings.
• Accept additional patients when coverage is required.
• Attend assigned clinics.
• Maintain therapy attendance records, patient charges, and statistics.
• Participate in supervision of Rehab Patient Care Associates, volunteers, and students.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
