Employment Type: Per Diem (PD/PRN)

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm

and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm

Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS

Join a dynamic, patient-centered outpatient rehabilitation team where you'll make a direct impact on patients' recovery, mobility, and quality of life. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT), you will work in a fast-paced clinic environment treating a diverse caseload including orthopedic, post-surgical, sports injury, and neurologic conditions.

This role is ideal for clinicians who thrive on building patient relationships, delivering evidence-based care, and helping individuals return to optimal function through personalized treatment plans, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.
• Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies aimed at restoring strength, function, and mobility.
• Facilitate physical therapy sessions using exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
• Provide guidance on exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

• Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current state Physical Therapy license
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
