Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist, PT – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Mt. Vernon, IL

Are you a Full-time Physical Therapist who has a passion for working in a multi-setting hospital? Do you also have an interest in supporting the needs of our pediatric patients?   If you are, we are looking for you!

• In this unique position, you will spend the majority of your time in our Pediatric Outpatient team, with occasional shifts spent in our Inpatient department. 
• This role will also be responsible for one weekend rotation per month ($4 hourly differential pay!)

What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist specific to the State of Illinois
• A Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy
• Current CPR certification

Pay rate: $40 - $58/hour (based on experience and certifications, does not include bonus potential)
