Step Into the Spotlight with Neurosport Physical Therapy

Neurosport Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide both outpatient clinic care and on-site coverage for performers in the entertainment industry. This position is ideal for a hands-on clinician who enjoys manual therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and working in dynamic performance environments.

About Us

Neurosport Physical Therapy provides specialized healthcare services to entertainers, performers, and artistic athletes. Our team helps individuals perform safely and sustainably through individualized treatment, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance-focused care.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will divide their time between treating patients in a clinical setting and providing on-site coverage during rehearsals, performances, productions, tours, and live events.

This is a hands-on clinical role. A significant portion of patient care may involve manual therapy and other physically demanding treatment techniques. Candidates should be comfortable providing repeated manual treatments throughout the workday based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings, performance demands, and functional goals.
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy, which may include soft-tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, stretching, and other clinically appropriate techniques.
  • Perform therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, rehabilitation, and injury-prevention services.
  • Provide on-site physical therapy coverage during rehearsals, performances, productions, and live events.
  • Respond to acute injuries and determine appropriate treatment, activity modifications, referrals, and follow-up care.
  • Educate patients and performers regarding movement mechanics, recovery, injury prevention, and individualized home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, production personnel, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all professional, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Adapt treatment approaches and scheduling to meet the needs of the clinic, production, and performers.
  • Perform other duties related to clinic operations and show coverage as assigned.

Physical and Work Requirements

  • Ability to provide frequent hands-on manual therapy throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and use the hands and upper body for extended periods.
  • Ability to assist patients with exercises, positioning, transfers, and mobility when clinically necessary.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and supplies associated with patient care.
  • Ability to work in clinic, backstage, rehearsal, production, and live-performance environments.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and performance schedules when required.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy or other qualifying degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Experience in orthopedic, sports, performing arts, or outpatient physical therapy preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and comfort with manual therapy techniques.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptability and professionalism when working with performers, production teams, and other healthcare professionals.

Why Join Neurosport Physical Therapy?

  • Work with performers and professionals in the entertainment industry.
