Job Description
A recognized medical services network in Brooklyn, New York, has a great Part-time opportunity awaiting a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) at one of their mental health facilities. In this role, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for providing direct physical therapy services to adult patients across inpatient units.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Part-time (Mon to Fri) or Weekend Coverage
Hours: 8am to 4pm or 8:30am to 5pm
Setting: Inpatient mental health facility
Responsibilities:
Assess patients for physical therapy needs and evaluate their conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician requests and patient history
Provide physical therapy treatment to address mobility, pain, deconditioning, and functional limitations
Work with patients across inpatient units and consult with the treatment team as needed
Review treatment goals and medical history to guide appropriate interventions
Qualifications:
1+ year of Physical Therapy experience
Bachelor's Degree
Active NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
Desired Skills:
Bilingual (any language)
Experience providing Physical Therapy services in a Mental Health setting
