Our Pelvic Wellness team is growing!

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to work within our Monroe, Plainsboro and Hamilton, NJ offices on a per diem basis. This role will be working vacation coverages and opportunity to pick up standing shifts at our Monroe office (Friday\'s 9-4) and Plainsboro office (Monday/Wednesday after 3 pm).

Previous Pelvic Wellness experience is preferred. Training is available for Physical Therapist who is passionate about Pelvic Wellness and growing in Penn Medicine!

Our Pelvic Wellness teams are highly specialized, offering progressive treatments for men, women and children aged 7 and older affected by pelvic floor disorders. Patient population includes, but is not limited to: bladder disorders, i.e., overactive bladder, urinary incontinence and interstitial cystitis, pelvic pain conditions, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic support disorders i.e., prolapses, post-prostatectomy incontinence, sexual dysfunction, chronic prostatitis, hysterectomy, bladder surgeries, tailbone pain, bowel dysfunction/incontinence and constipation, and pregnancy and post-partum complications like pelvic dysfunction and delivery and perineal lacerations. Pelvic floor therapy involves specialized treatment from a physical therapist who is specifically trained in treating pelvic floor disorders with the goal of restoring a higher level of mobility, movement, and healthy function.

Credentials:

  • Physical Therapist (Required)
  • The physical therapist must be licensed by the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy in accordance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act of 1983. Pelvic Health related certification is preferred at time of hire. This certification includes but is not limited to: APTA Certificate of Achievement in Obstetric or Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (CAPP-OB or CAPP-Pelvic), Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC), Women's Health Clinical Specialist (WCS), or Pelvic Health Specialist Certification (PHC)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
  • Master of Arts or Science (Required)
  • Education Specialization:
  • 2 years of treating pelvic floor patients preferred experience

Salary Range:

$37.63 - $60.01/Hourly
