A leading healthcare organization in the Pensacola, Florida area is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its hospital-based rehabilitation team. Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services by evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering skilled therapeutic interventions. This role supports patients throughout the continuum of care and plays an important part in helping patients achieve functional goals and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients’ physical, functional, therapeutic, and rehabilitative needs
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Provide skilled therapy interventions within the scope of professional practice
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case management, and other care team members
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapy techniques, safety, equipment use, and home programs
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
  • Support goal achievement, patient engagement, and a positive care experience
  • Prioritize daily caseload and coordinate patient handoffs as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Current or eligible Florida Physical Therapist license required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of start date
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous hospital, acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient therapy experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Compensation
Hourly compensation is based on years of experience:
  • $39.95/hour -$54.10/hour
