Job Title: Physical Therapist

Summary:

The Physical Therapist (PT) provides evaluation, treatment, and coordination of clinical activities to ensure high-quality patient care. Working under the direction of the Specialty Lead, the PT develops and implements individualized treatment plans, educates patients and families, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to support recovery and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and pain-related conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized and group treatment plans
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic appliances and home care
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to physicians
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities including massage, manual therapy, and hydrotherapy
  • Participate in case conferences and discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate clinical and progress documentation
  • Follow standard operating procedures and infection control protocols
  • Establish effective relationships with patients and staff
  • Stay current with physical therapy techniques and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (Master's preferred)
  • Current and unrestricted California PT license
  • Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum one year of professional experience preferred
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
  • Knowledge of geriatric and neurological rehabilitation techniques
  • Familiarity with infection control and proper body mechanics
  • Ability to safely transfer dependent patients
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Post-offer requirements: CPR/BLS certification, TB test, annual flu shot (during flu season); Hepatitis B vaccine offered but not required
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM
