Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT) - Full-Time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts | Weekends as needed

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide hands-on rehabilitation services for geriatric patients across skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living settings. This role focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence through functional, evidence-based therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide treatment including gait, balance, mobility, and strength training
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Complete timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families, including home exercise programs
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation aides

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT, Master's, or Bachelor's)
• Active Physical Therapist license in Maine (or eligibility)
• Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
