THE ROLE
Our client is a leading outpatient rehabilitation provider delivering patient-centered therapy services on-site at its Charlottesville, VA clinic. This full-time, direct-hire Physical Therapist role carries an average daily caseload of approximately 10 12 patient visits (~50 visits/week) across orthopedic, neurological, post-operative, gait and balance, vestibular, concussion, and sports-related caseloads. The organization offers a Monday Friday schedule, AI-powered documentation support, and a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for outpatient physical therapy patients
- Treat patients with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pre- and post-operative conditions, sports-related injuries, gait and balance impairments, vestibular disorders, and concussion
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the EMR
- Manage an average caseload of approximately 10 12 patient visits per day (~50 visits/week)
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in clinical learning, peer collaboration, and continuing education initiatives
- Maintain compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Knowledge of manual therapy techniques
- Experience treating sports injuries and post-surgical patients
- Exposure to vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, or balance disorders
- Strong documentation and time management skills
