Physical Therapy of the Rockies is a locally owned, PT-led outpatient clinic in South Metro Denver that pairs advanced clinical expertise, including: osteopractic, vestibular, and McKenzie-certified specialists, with truly individualized, hands-on treatment for everything from back and joint pain to vestibular disorders and injury recovery. They build every plan around the individual, backing it with evidence-based techniques delivered by a genuinely friendly, encouraging staff. The result is fast access (appointments within 24–48 hours) and a proven track record of getting patients back to being healthy, active, and pain-free.
This role pays $80,000–$94,000 a year. We take mentorship seriously, giving you the support to grow toward the upper end of that range. As you grow your caseload, you'll help more patients and earn more. You won't be figuring it out alone.
In addition we provide:
$5,000 sign-on bonus
Unlimited continuing education funds, plus a $500 travel stipend
$12,000 fellowship reimbursement
17 days of PTO in year one, increasing with tenure
$10,000 in tax-free student loan repayment over 5 years, paid monthly
Relocation assistance available
On top of that, you get the standard package, done right:
Medical insurance, with the clinic covering roughly 75% of your premium
HSA option with employer contributions
401(k) with an employer match that vests immediately
Dental and vision insurance
Short-term disability and life insurance options
At PT of the Rockies you’ll get more than a job. You’ll get a career path, mentorship, and the chance to work in one of the country’s most beautiful regions. Some highlights:
Clinical autonomy whereyou make the calls on patient care
A new grad mentoring program that builds up your caseload as you’re ready for it
Unlimited continuing education and specialty certifications, no budget cap, no approval process
A real path to Clinic Director or another clinical leadership role
Reasonable caseloads and flexible scheduling
Evidence-based care, backed by the technology and time to deliver it
There are physical therapy jobs, and then there are physical therapy careers in a place people love to live. South Denver doesn't need much of an introduction: the foothills as your backdrop, easy access to Chatfield State Park and Roxborough, world-class hiking and biking minutes from your door, and a laid-back suburban pace without giving up big-city amenities. With clinics in Littleton and Lakewood, you get South Denver life from wherever makes the most sense for you. Work where you've always wanted to be.
Most of your day is spent directly with patients, planning and delivering hands-on care with the autonomy to treat the way you think is right. That includes:
Evaluating patients and building individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Hands-on interventions through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialty modalities
Teaching patients and their families about recovery, home exercise, and injury prevention
Tracking progress and adjusting plans as patients progress
Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Documenting in line with HIPAA and state and federal rules, using AI tools that cut down on paperwork instead of adding to it
We’re looking for a PT who genuinely wants to help people move better and wants to keep growing themselves. Ideal candidates have:
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
A Colorado physical therapy license, or eligibility for one
All experience levels are encouraged to apply
Strong communication skills, the kind that put patients at ease
Interest in growing into a leadership role down the line
Current CPR certification
You’ll need to:
Lift up to 50 pounds
Stand, bend, reach, and use fine motor skills regularly
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercises
PT of the Rockies Physical Therapy is an equal opportunity employer. We don’t discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status, and we’re committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace.
