Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services for adult and pediatric patients. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, restore functional mobility, improve quality of life, and prevent disability through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and establish measurable treatment goals
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Perform muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability assessments
- Administer therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and therapeutic procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist License
- Current BLS Certification
Experience & Skills
- Experience evaluating and treating adult and pediatric patients
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
