Job Description
Immediate contract opportunity for Physical Therapist (PT) with our facility in Riverhead, NY.
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm or 9:30am- 5:30pm
- Flexible Schedule Available
Contract Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 2 to 3 months (with possible extension and/or contract to hire opportunity)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological and general medical conditions
- Monitor patient response to treatment and collaborate with members of the rehab/interdisciplinary team
- Complete written documentation and participate in team meetings
- Provide patient and caregiver education
Qualifications:
- Will consider new graduates with clinical experience in acute or long-term care
- Must have a current NYS Physical Therapist license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with electronic documentation, Sigma/Rehab Optima a plus!
