Physical Therapist - Remote

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide teletherapy services for students in a school-based setting. This is a contract position offering full-time hours for a virtual school assignment.

Candidates must hold an active Montana Physical Therapist license or be able to obtain one prior to starting. This is a mandatory requirement.

The Physical Therapist will collaborate with school teams, families, teachers, and related service providers to support students’ mobility, positioning, access, and participation needs in the educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual physical therapy services to K-12 students
• Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Develop and implement IEP-based therapy goals and treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Support students with mobility, adaptive equipment, positioning, and functional access needs

Qualifications:

• Active Montana Physical Therapist license, or ability to obtain one prior to starting
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Teletherapy experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable using virtual therapy platforms and school-based documentation systems
• Ability to manage a full-time school-based caseload remotely
