JOB PURPOSE: The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services to patients/clients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. The Physical Therapist has mastered basic technical, manual, and organizational physical therapy skills. There is a focus on outcomes, and care is delivered using a systematic approach. The Physical Therapist must be able to evaluate the patient's condition and develop an individualized plan tailored to each client based on the physician's orders. Help clients enhance strength, range of motion, flexibility, mechanical alignment and minimize pain or discomfort to improve function.
The primary goal of the El Rio Health Physical Therapist is to support El Rio's Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions.

New hires and transfers must submit their fingerprint clearance card or fingerprint receipt before their hire date or transfer date. Level One (1) Non-IVP Fingerprint Clearance card must be received within 30 days after the new employee hire date or transfer date.
