    Job Description

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
    • Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
    • Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required.
    • Experience with restorative programs, transfers, gait training, and activity tolerance with older adult populations is preferred.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
    • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
    • Additional certifications such as Certified Geriatric Specialist (if applicable) are preferred.


    Assignment Details

    • Five days per week.

    Impacting Patient Care

    Provide skilled physical therapy in a skilled nursing environment. Deliver interventions that promote functional independence, fall risk reduction, mobility, and safe discharge planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care and measurable outcomes.
