Our Crane's Mill 5 star community has an opening for a per diem (as needed) Physical Therapist! This position offers $65/hour with flexible scheduling!

In this role, you will:

  1. Performs and documents an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention. Reviews physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required.
  2. Plans, prepares, or carries out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
  3. Administers manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.
  4. Tests and measures patient's strength, motor development and function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory or circulatory efficiency and record data.
  5. Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.

Education/Training/Certifications: Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by one of the following: The American Physical Therapy Association; The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association; The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association.

Current Physical Therapist state license

Skill(s): Excellent verbal and written communication, service orientation, critical thinking, instructing, listening & time management.

Experience: Minimum 2 years practicing as Physical Therapist; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
