Alto Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to fill a contract opening located in Winston-Salem, NC for $63+/hr (taxed + non-taxed)

Contract Details:

• Monday - Friday, Day Shift
• 34 hours/week guaranteed
• 13 week contract

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Winston-Salem, NC. As a Physical Therapist specializing in rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and various physical ailments. Your expertise will guide patients through tailored treatment plans, utilizing advanced techniques and evidence-based practices to enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current physical conditions to determine the appropriate rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, including physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients' recovery.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs, incorporating exercises, therapeutic activities, and modalities to address patients' specific needs and goals.
• Monitor patients' progress, track improvements, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment procedures, and home exercises, fostering active participation in the recovery process.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, neuromuscular reeducation, and functional training, to enhance patients' physical abilities.
• Regularly document patients' treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with medical record-keeping standards.

Qualifications:

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Specialization or certification in rehabilitation therapy is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, Kinesiology, and therapeutic techniques relevant to rehabilitation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Demonstrated ability to create and modify treatment plans based on individual patient needs and progress.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and relevant software for documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
