Edenbrook Yeadon is seeking a dedicated and compassionatePhysical Therapist(part-time and/or PRN) to join our team. The Physical Therapist will develop and implement individualized therapy programs to enhance patient performance and independence. The ideal candidate will focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical rehabilitation through evidence-based practices. This role involves working with patients of varying needs and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Position: Physical Therapist (part-time and/or PRN)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance patient performance.
  • Identify the need for and make referrals to other healthcare disciplines as necessary to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
  • Instruct, educate, and train patients and caregivers in skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence, improving quality of life, and diminishing or correcting pathology.
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, provisional licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
  • Develop personalized care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
  • Create fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of patients.
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care using proven interventions.
  • Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally and reach their rehabilitation goals.
  • Promote clients’ healthy lifestyles by improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Continuously evaluate patient progress, monitor outcomes, and communicate updates effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
  • Active state Physical Therapy license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
