We are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support our rehabilitation team in providing quality patient care within a fast-paced outpatient setting. This position combines direct patient support with front office responsibilities, requiring strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for patient care activities
Assist Physical Therapists with non-clinical patient support during therapy sessions
Escort patients and provide assistance with prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities
Clean, organize, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment rooms
Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic calendars
Answer phones, greet patients, and provide exceptional customer service
Complete patient registration and verify demographic information
Document and update patient information within the EMR system (EPIC)
Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Support clinic operations and perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide, Rehabilitation Aide, Occupational Therapy Aide, Therapy Technician, or related role
Experience working in a physical therapy, rehabilitation, orthopedic, sports medicine, or INPATIENT setting extremely preferred
Strong customer service and patient interaction skills
Experience with appointment scheduling and front desk operations
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems; Epic experience preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of anatomy, rehabilitation, or exercise principles preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
