We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing Bensalem team.
Position OverviewAs a Physical Therapist Assistant at FYZICAL Bensalem, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to carry out individualized plans of care and help patients achieve meaningful functional goals.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, takes pride in providing excellent care, and wants to be part of a positive and collaborative clinic culture.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Carry out individualized plans of care established by the evaluating Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance training, functional activities, and other appropriate interventions
- Work with a diverse patient population including orthopedic, post-surgical, balance, vestibular, and neurological patients
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients on exercises, home programs, safety, and strategies to improve functional independence
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional treatment environment
- Build positive relationships with patients and contribute to an exceptional patient experience
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to maintain a supportive clinic environment
- Participate in professional development and clinic growth opportunities
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Dependable, professional, and organized
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team
- Interest in orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation
- Previous outpatient experience is preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
