- Graduated from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-accredited physical therapy assistant education program. Usually a 2-year degree that covers essential topics such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, and clinical pathology.
- Experience is preferred but not required at this time
- Must be licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist Assistant or have all appropriate FSBPT paperwork completed to work as a Student Physical Therapist Assistant post-graduation while studying to take the licensure exam.
- Current BLS.
