Pacific Coast Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Salinas, California.

What You'll Do
As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services focused on improving residents' mobility, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist residents in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence.
Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safe mobility techniques, and strategies to support functional independence.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
Qualifications
Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
