We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN opportunity in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. This position offers a consistent schedule M-F 30 Hours Guaranteed and the opportunity to work with a collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to improving the lives of adult and geriatric patients.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will provide direct patient care under the clinical supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), implementing individualized treatment plans designed to maximize each patient's mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence.
- Accurately document patient treatments and progress.
- Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant License (PTA/LPTA) required.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- New graduates and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (LPTAs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living, or Post-Acute Care is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
