In this vital role, you'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care across a variety of clinical settings, from inpatient rehab to outpatient services. Required Skills:
  • Current Louisiana PTA license
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload across diverse patient populations
  • Experience with spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, orthopedic surgeries, sports medicine, and neurologic diagnoses
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with therapists, physicians, and staff
  • Proficiency in EMR systems such as EPIC, Meditech Expanse, and Wellsky

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient rehabilitation
  • BLS, ACLS, or NIHSS certifications
  • Experience working with medically complex or debilitated patients

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1+ years in a specialized PT or PTA role
  • Prior experience in inpatient rehab, acute care, or outpatient settings
  • First-time travelers considered based on experience and skillset

Other Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance, if applicable
  • Willingness to attend hospital and departmental orientations (2-3 days)
  • No weekend shifts for outpatient; IPR and acute care may require up to 1 weekend/month
  • No holiday coverage required
  • Scrub color: Pewter for inpatient; professional dress for outpatient
  • Free parking provided
