Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• Anesthesiology physician needed to provide coverage Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• 
  
• Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month
• 
  
• Work in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting supporting CRNAs while medical directing and performing own cases
• 
  
• Treat patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (primarily 1+ year outpatient, with occasional cases under 1 year for ENT tubes and tonsils)
• 
  
• Perform outpatient cases across all specialties excluding cardiac and OB
• 
  
• Orthopedic cases with nerve blocks are heavily utilized and required
• 
  
• Utilize EPIC EMR system
• 
  
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology required (Board Eligible not accepted)
• 
  
• Active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
• 
  
• DEA required
• 
  
• Active PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Minimum 2+ years of experience preferred

The facility is staffed by a collaborative team including CRNAs and anesthesiologists who work together to deliver high-quality patient care. With a focus on outpatient procedures, the center offers a streamlined, fast-paced practice setting utilizing the EPIC electronic medical records system.
