Physician Assistant – Family Care ClinicMake a Difference in Rural HealthcareHarney District Hospital is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Care Clinic team. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, high-quality care in a close-knit rural community while working alongside an experienced and supportive healthcare team.As a Physician Assistant at HDH, you will provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages, helping manage both acute and chronic conditions while building lasting relationships with the patients and community you serve.What You'll DoProvide comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.Evaluate and manage acute and chronic illnesses and conditions.Prescribe and manage medications.Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other outpatient procedures.Provide patient education and promote overall health and wellness.Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when appropriate.Collaborate and regularly consult with physicians regarding patient care.Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough patient documentation.Participate in provider meetings and help identify opportunities to improve clinic processes and patient care.Provide care within our Rural Health Clinic and, when needed, conduct home visits.Work collaboratively with clinical support staff and the broader HDH healthcare team.What We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.Current, unencumbered Oregon Physician Assistant license and good standing with the Oregon licensing board.Current Federal DEA license.Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to providing compassionate, quality patient care.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Five or more years of family practice experience preferred.Apply today and become part of the Harney District Hospital team. Harney County Health District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
