Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage providing both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
• 
  
• Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks including 1-2 weekends, with flexible dates
• 
  
• Onsite hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• 
  
• Weekend coverage involves 24-hour beeper call
• 
  
• 7 to 14 shifts per month required with 8 guaranteed hours per day
• 
  
• Expected patient encounters per shift: 7 to 9 patients
• 
  
• Board certification required; BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 
  
• Active DEA required
• 
  
• Fellowship required
• 
  
• Experience required with cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echocardiograms
• 
  
• Must be proficient in reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echocardiograms
• 
  
• Nuclear reads preferred but not required
• 
  
• Required skills include outpatient cardiology, inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, and cardiac catheterization
• 
  
• Trauma Level 3 facility
• 
  
• Candidates willing to obtain an Oregon license will be considered
