Job Details:

• General Cardiology locum coverage position in an outpatient clinic setting
• 
  
• Monday through Friday schedule, 2-3 weeks per month
• 
  
• Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 
  
• Duration: 3+ months
• 
  
• Provider will work at an additional location likely on Mondays until privileges are granted at that site
• 
  
• Responsibilities include seeing new consults, follow-ups, and transfer of care patients
• 
  
• Primary responsibility is seeing patients in the office and following up on generated results
• 
  
• Encounters must be closed within 24 hours
• 
  
• Expected to result ECGs ordered for patient care
• 
  
• May be asked to result Zio monitors ordered by other providers when backlog exists
• 
  
• May serve as supervising physician for nursing visits and stress tests
• 
  
• No expectation for echo or stress test interpretations
• 
  
• Support staff includes MAs, RNs, and echo techs
• 
  
• EMR system: EPIC
• 
  
• Board Certification required; Washington State License highly preferred
• 
  
• DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
