As a Medical Director, you'll spend most of your time providing direct patient care, while also contributing to quality improvements and center business growth alongside the Center Leadership Team . Key Responsibilities
- Provide 100% center‑based direct patient care, mentoring clinicians and modeling clinical excellence and exceptional patient experience .
- Serve as the Clinic Medical Director (CMD), assuming leadership responsibilities for the assigned location .
- Collaborate with the Director of Medical Operations to improve clinical quality, workflows, safety, performance, and satisfaction metrics .
- Work with Director Teams to identify improvement opportunities and ensure workflow compliance that supports optimal patient care .
- Mentor and train future clinical leaders and newly hired clinicians .
- Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, safety, quality care, and continuous improvement .
- Understand center financial drivers and support strategic business plans; assist other CMDs in doing the same .
- Maintain relationships with employers, payers, referral sources, and community partners to drive market growth; respond to requests within 24 hours .
- Assist with clinician meeting planning and staffing management; may observe drug/alcohol testing as needed .
- Perform additional duties as assigned; responsibilities may change over time .
Qualifications
- Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Preferred:
- 2+ years of relevant clinical and supervisory experience
- 2+ years in managed care or physician management
- Experience leading medical management and quality improvement programs, ideally in a managed care setting

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $280,000–$345,000 annually + $10,000 Director Stipend (based on experience, location, seniority)

Pay Transparency Compensation varies based on location, experience, and performance. Some sites require disclosure of pay and benefits. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives depending on business needs.
