Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM in-house with call coverage from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 
  
• Provider must be available to work the following dates: October 20-24, November 1-6, and November 23-27
• 
  
• Must hold an active Kentucky license and active DEA registration
• 
  
• Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine with active ACLS certification
• 
  
• Required to perform common critical care procedures including airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum
• 
  
• Coverage need of 8-12 shifts per month
• 
  
• Daily patient volume of 8-14 Medical ICU patients
• 
  
• Provider will serve as sole coverage for the MICU with support from MICU nurses, respiratory therapists, and other service lines

The facility maintains a dedicated Medical Intensive Care Unit supported by a multidisciplinary team including specialized nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and additional clinical service lines, ensuring comprehensive patient care in a collaborative environment.
