Job Details:

• Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join the team for a new free-standing emergency department (FSED)
• 
  
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• 
  
• EMR system: MEDITECH
• 
  
• Minimum 3 years of full-time emergency room work and 6,000 hours in the ED required to be considered
• 
  
• Will accept board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine only if the provider has 6,000 hours of ER experience and full-time emergency room work in the three years preceding application
• 
  
• Must have active ACLS and PALS certifications
• 
  
• ATLS is recommended but not absolutely necessary for FSEDs
• 
  
• State-of-the-art free-standing emergency department with 12-bed private exam rooms and a designated trauma room
• 
  
• Annual emergency department volume of approximately 11,000 patients
• 
  
• Physician daily coverage: 24 hours
• 
  
• Patient volume of approximately 1.3 patients per hour
• 
  
• Diagnostic imaging on-site including X-rays and CT scans with and without contrast
• 
  
• Ultrasound on call 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
• 
  
• Laboratory services available on-site

With on-site diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, and around-the-clock ultrasound availability, the facility is well-positioned to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
