Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Outpatient clinic coverage focusing on management of chronic and acute gastroenterology diseases for new and established patients
• 
  
• 1-2 full-time providers needed
• 
  
• Patient volume of 18-20 patients per day
• 
  
• Shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 
  
• No call coverage required
• 
  
• Ability to order and send patients for endoscopy procedures to be completed by on-site MDs
• 
  
• Support staff includes 1 PA inpatient and 1 Triage RN
• 
  
• EMR: EPIC (training provided during onboarding)
• 
  
• Board Certification required
• 
  
• BLS required
• 
  
• No new graduates

This facility is a 190-bed acute care hospital providing a wide range of services including 24/7 Emergency Care (Trauma Level III), Cardiovascular Services, Cancer Care, Orthopedic Care, Women's & Children's Health, and Primary Care Services. It is a Joint Commission Accredited teaching hospital serving most of the surrounding county and region.
