Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology clinic coverage and procedures 5 days per week
- Perform 4 high-risk outpatient screening colonoscopies plus inpatient add-ons per day
- Work 1 week at a time (7 days), 1-2 weeks per month
- Must be able to perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
- Handle approximately 12 patient encounters per shift
- Must be board certified or board eligible with fellowship training
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Required skills include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder
- Must perform esophageal dilation, small bowel biopsy, and lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required
- Case logs for the past 24 months must be provided with application
