Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Ongoing gastroenterology coverage with procedures and call responsibilities
Schedule includes 10-hour days (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) plus night call Monday through Friday
24-hour call coverage required on weekends (7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Sunday)
Coverage needed approximately 1 week per month plus weekends
Patient population consists of adults 18 years and older
Daily census ranges from 30-50 total patients with 9-16 new consults per day
Focus on emergency procedures and inpatient consultations
No outpatient procedures, ERCP, or EUS performed
Anesthesiology support available onsite
EPIC electronic medical record system used
Board certification (BE or BC) in Gastroenterology required
Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration required
Minimum 1 year of gastroenterology experience required
