Academic Partnership & Training Footprint: PHSC trains seven (7) ACGME fellows each year—among the largest hand fellowships nationally—with opportunities to teach residents and fellows, pursue research, and progress toward academic leadership/Professorship at Thomas Jefferson University.
High-Complexity Clinical Mix: Robust exposure to trauma, microvascular and peripheral nerve, reconstruction, and busy elective practice—supported by advanced facilities and resources.
Team & Culture: Join a collegial faculty of 17 upper-extremity surgeons (orthopedic and plastic-trained) with shared call among 11 hand surgeons, backed by experienced APPs and an engaged administrative team.
Location & Lifestyle: Primary base in Philadelphia, Langhorne and King of Prussia. Dynamic communities offering top schools, culture, and access to travel throughout the Northeast corridor.
Deliver exceptional, patient-centered upper-extremity care across clinic, OR, and call settings.
Teach and mentor fellows/residents through didactics, clinical rotations, and anatomy sessions (as desired).
Collaborate on clinical outcomes and research within a productive academic environment.
MD/DO from an accredited institution.
Fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery (backgrounds in Orthopedic OR Plastic Surgery welcomed).
Board-eligible or Board-certified in relevant specialty.
No minimum prior experience required.
State licensure is not required at application; licensure will be obtained during onboarding. Multi-state practice may include PA, NJ, and DE.
