Opportunity:

Physician - Hematology Oncology Pediatric

Job Details:

• Provide pediatric hematology/oncology services for one month contract from June 18, 2026 through July 13, 2026
• 
  
• Conduct 4 half-day clinics per week treating 4-8 patients per clinic session
• 
  
• Provide infusion center coverage for 5-10 patients per week
• 
  
• Perform inpatient consultations with 0-3 consults per day
• 
  
• Maintain 24/7 call coverage for inpatient service and emergency department
• 
  
• Work with support team including one advanced practice provider and infusion center nursing staff
• 
  
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical record system
• 
  
• Perform specialized procedures including lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies
• 
  
• Board certification required
• 
  
• Valid state license required (temporary license or IMLC accepted)
• 
  
• DEA registration required
• 
  
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

This healthcare organization operates as a Level 1 trauma center featuring a pediatric intensive care unit and comprehensive hospitalist services. The facility provides specialized pediatric care with subspecialty support including endocrinology, nephrology, and cardiology services. The organization maintains an inpatient hospitalist service model with robust subspecialty support to ensure comprehensive patient care across multiple medical disciplines.
