Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Interventional Cardiologist coverage needed for the following dates: November 23-26, December 1-4, and December 29-January 1
• 
  
• Availability of 3-7 days per month required
• 
  
• Practice setting includes inpatient and EMTALA call coverage
• 
  
• No ambulatory or clinic work required
• 
  
• Two interventional cardiologists currently in the group with other interventional cardiologists present during locum coverage
• 
  
• Adult patient population only
• 
  
• Documentation system/EMR: Epic Cupid
• 
  
• Required procedures include Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, and Coronary Angiograms
• 
  
• Expected to respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital
• 
  
• General cardiology consults as needed
• 
  
• Reading studies to include EKG, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear stress)
• 
  
• Board Certification required
• 
  
• Active Kentucky License required; IMLC considered for providers with 3-7 days per month availability
• 
  
• DEA required and ACLS required
• 
  
• On-call and weekend coverage required
