The physician is responsible for providing compassionate and quality medical care within the standards of the hospital, to their patients. Shall exert their best efforts and devote their time and attention to the practice of medicine, within the realm of their specialty.
Responsibilities:
Provides comprehensive women’s health care services to Humboldt Park Health patients including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease
Hospital practice includes labor and delivery as well as gynecologic surgery relevant to general obstetrics and gynecology
Serves as an expert OB/GYN consultant for other primary health care providers at Humboldt Park Health
Outpatient work includes management of general obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic consultation, and office-based procedures such as ultrasound, colposcopy and LEEP
Provide direct patient care as a physician in the office, hospital, or other such locations within the community as assigned
Position will require a small number of in-house overnight call with opportunity for additional moonlighting if desired
Participate in the Quality Improvement and Peer Review programs
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (M.D.), or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine required
Board-certified or Board-eligible in OB/GYN
Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon
Current and valid DEA and IL Controlled Substance
