Job Description:
- Supports OB/GYN Office
- Schedules patients for clinic-based procedures, coordinating with relevant departments.
- Registers patients and performs benefit eligibility verification applicable for patient visits.
- Completes authorization and pre-certification related to patient procedures.
- Serves as a liaison with insurance companies to submit accurate information needed for approval.
- Relays instructions and preparation details for procedures to patients.
- Coordinates equipment and medications needed for procedures.
- Acts as a liaison with vendors to ensure equipment and vendor presence when needed.
- Oversees training needed for procedures and ensures appropriate cleaning and maintenance of all equipment.
- Assists in patient procedures and oversees timely billing of procedures.
- Orders and maintains supplies for the department within budget guidelines.
- Oversees clinic-based procedure operations, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft office [Required]
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with all levels of management and outside vendors and medical office staff [Required]
- Strong emphasis on organizational skills and strong attention to detail [Required]
