Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of various eye conditions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the visual health of our patients while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Diagnose and treat visual disorders, including prescribing corrective lenses.
  • Provide pediatric eye care services, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the importance of regular eye exams.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the management of ocular health.
  • Stay updated on advancements in optometry, ophthalmology, and optical technologies.
  • Assist in sales of eyewear products and provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice optometry.

  • Familiarity with optical equipment and ophthalmology practices is advantageous.
