PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Volume/Census: 25 (MD) / 20 (APPs) patients daily
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Virginia license, DEA
  • Board: BC/BE in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • DEA: Current DEA registration required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Experience: Completion of accredited family practice residency
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs physical examinations of new and existing patients and determines x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required.
  • Interprets examination findings, test results, and implements treatment plans.
  • Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to the entire family unit, including preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
  • Participates in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures according to training and demonstrated ability.
  • Instructs other healthcare providers and non-medical personnel in health-related topics, including first-aid measures, basic and advanced cardiac life support, and healthcare maintenance.
