About the student
The student is a 3rd grader attending Laurel Elementary. He is looking to learn piano. The family has an electric keyboard in the home that the student is interested in learning how to play. He does not know much about playing the piano but his mom would like him to start working with a tutor to pick up on the basics.
The goal is for the student to learn the fundamentals of playing the piano.
The family wants 1 hour sessions once a week either between 4pm-7pm any day Monday through Friday or between 1pm-7pm on Sunday.
The family wants to meet in-person with the tutor at their home in Menlo Park near the Peninsula School. They would also be happy meeting the tutor in-person at a neutral location up to 20 miles away.
Requirements
REQUIRED
You have experience teaching/tutoring.
You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
Due to insurance requirements, applicant must not be a minor.
Tutor must be available for 1 hour sessions once a week either between 4pm-7pm any day Monday through Friday or between 1pm-7pm on Sunday.
PREFERRED
You have a teaching certification.
