Voice Pick / Warehouse Order Picker Job Summary We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Pickers to accurately pick and prepare customer orders using a voice-directed picking system. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities
Use a voice-directed picking system to receive and complete orders.
Move a picking cart through warehouse aisles to locate assigned products.
Pick the correct item and quantity from designated bins.
Verify products during the picking process to ensure order accuracy.
Bag, band, or organize smaller products for easy identification.
Complete production or activity records as required.
Return completed carts to the designated staging area.
Dispose of boxes and packaging materials appropriately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures, policies, and work instructions.
Assist with special projects and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, order picking, fulfillment, or distribution experience preferred.
Experience with voice picking or RF-based warehouse systems is a plus.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to distinguish between similar products, including differences in size, color, and product/vendor codes.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments.
Good problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; comparable work experience will also be considered.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse picking, order fulfillment, distribution, inventory, or shipping/receiving and understands how important speed and accuracy are when filling customer orders.
