Position Tittle: Picker/PackerAssignment Category: Full-Time, RegularFLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exemptSchedule: 6 days Sun-Fri, 9am startPosition overviewThe Picker/Packer will be responsible for sorting and moving materials and goods in a warehouse. They will be picking, inspecting and packing products according to the order slip. Along with labeling boxes, packing before shipment, stocking and restocking shelves in the warehouse.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.Sorting and moving materials and goodsPicking, inspecting, and packing products according to the order slipLabeling boxes and packing materials before shipping Stocking and restocking materialsUsing computer systems and scanners to manage ordersMight operate pallet jacks or forklifts to transport goodsFollow safety practices throughout operations Ensure warehouse and production goals are met.Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities):Computer literateAble to read and know basic mathAble to lift up to 50lbs. Some Heavy lifting is requiredAbility to stay on feet for long periods of timeAbility to work in a cold/wet area.Physical characteristics:Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull weights 50lbs, up to 80 pounds
