    Picker/Packer Associate - Job Description

    Position Summary

    The Picker/Packer Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or handheld scanning devices

    • Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipment

    • Verify order accuracy, including item count and product codes

    • Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping

    • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or scanners

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area

    • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

    • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed

    • Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    • Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

    • Basic math and reading skills

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Reliable attendance and punctuality

    Work Environment
