Piedmont Dining Room - Host/Hostess (PT)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Welcome guests with a smile and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant and seat at them at their tables.
• They will take room service orders over the phone and prepare them/sometimes take to room
• They will make reservations using the iPad for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of restaurant layout, menu, and specials.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and hostess area.
• Participate in training programs to continuously improve guest service skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work in a team-driven environment to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
